(Click for bigger picture) Quuren is in the corner of a larger island called Zaetimar, but everything beyond the walls that border Quuren are now wastelands. Quuren is a land that is familiar to magic, though it is not as abundant as it used to be. It is largely populated by humans, but there are also isolated communities of dragons, trolls, unicorns, and fairies, with other miscellaneous magical creatures here and there. The humans have their own language, as do the trolls. Humans and trolls are not magical. Only 14 humans ever acquired the ability to use magic, and no trolls have. Magic has its own language called Imader.
